We left from a horrible experience at Dalts American Grill where they never attended us or took our drinks or food orders. We planned to get take out. We have never been to Cinco de mayo, So we stopped by on our way home from Dalts. Best decision ever. The atmosphere was welcoming. We got Sat right away. They took pur orders and drinks in les than 5 min and food was delicious. Also very affordable compared to other similar Restraunts. My hubby got the carnitas, daughter got the carne asada, and I got steak and shrimp fajitas. I also got the Mexican Candy shots. The waiter was also very attentive bringing drinks napkins and salsa.

I went to this place on New Year's Eve. I had heard good things about it, so I was excited. You get a free basket of chips, which is good. The chips were fried to perfection and the salsa and queso were really good. I got the Fajita Burrito to eat, and it came out quick and fresh. It was really good. It was a lot of food for only 14, so the pricing is good. I devoured the whole burrito, as well as the rice and beans that it came with. This restaurant is really good.

If you have even the slightest desire for Mexican food, then go here if you are in Nashville. It's got great food, great service, and you won't regret your visit. I make it a point to go herecevery time I am in the area, and I live in California where there is no shortage of Mexican resturants.

We love this restaurant! We're regulars who order fajitas for pickup. The people who work there are kind and have a great sense of humor. They so often hand us our food order and say, "see you tomorrow". It's honestly so good that sometimes they do. They are respectful of food allergies, courteous, and always serve outstanding food. We don't often stray from the fajitas because they are so good. Grilled to perfection with a generous serving of meat. We've tried every variety of fajitas, too. Their salsa is very fresh and has chunks of cilantro in it - just delicious. It's a wonderful place to dine in with friends but they also do pickup right!

Such an amazing restaurant, with great staff, food, and a very welcoming atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone, definitely going to go again before we return home to Canada!

I’ve been coming to Cinco De Mayo for years, and it’s hands-down one of my favorite spots in Nashville. The food is consistently authentic, flavorful, and made with care—real Mexican cuisine that hits every time. Today, I had the shrimp street tacos with a cold bottle of Modelo Especial and queso dip to start. Everything was perfect. The shrimp was fresh and seasoned beautifully, the tortillas were warm and soft, and the queso was rich and addictive. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is always friendly, and it just feels like home every time I walk in. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, this place delivers. Highly recommend it—this is the real deal.

The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. We got seated immediately and the food came out quickly. Best queso I have ever had. Everything was delicious and hot and made specifically how we asked.

Delicious Mexican food with excellent chips and salsa. The hot and spicy burrito was delicious and was a nice change from the Tex-Mex I get back home.
